CURRENT OPENINGS:
Senior HVAC Service Technician (Condominium Specialist)
Are you a lead technician who is tired of being just a number in a giant corporation? At Sychem Inc., we operate differently. Since 1983, we’ve built our reputation on ethics, integrity, and a "family-first" culture. We are a privately owned, multi-cultural team that values the person behind the tools. We don’t micromanage; instead, we empower our technicians to take initiative, solve problems, and lead by example.
If you are a self-motivated expert who thrives in a respectful, supportive environment and wants to see your impact on a company’s growth every day, we want to meet you.
The Role
As our Senior Service Technician, you aren't just running calls—you are a technical pillar of our team. You will handle complex repairs while mentoring junior techs and helping us bridge the gap between field operations and office workflow.

Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshooting and repairing fan coils and heat pumps (vertical/horizontal) within high-rise environments.
Leadership & Mentorship: Providing technical support and on-site training to our junior technicians to help them level up.
Customer Excellence: Representing Sychem in clients' homes with a professional demeanor, educating residents on their systems, and ensuring a high-quality service experience.
Process Improvement: Working directly with management to improve shop-to-office workflows and developing internal training programs.
Full-Spectrum Service: Performing installs, general maintenance (filters/belts), and documentation via digital work orders.
What We Offer
Competitive Compensation: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience).

Full Benefits: Comprehensive Health and Dental package.
Perks: Company truck + gas card, Incentives and bonus pay opportunities, and on-site parking.
Growth: Long-term stability with a clear path into operations or scheduling leadership roles.
Environment: A diverse, respectful, and encouraging workplace where your voice is heard.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for a "proactive professional"—someone who sees a problem and fixes it before being asked.
Experience: 5+ years of specialized experience in Condominium HVAC (Fan Coils & Heat Pumps).
Licensing: 313D or 313A Refrigeration License, G2 Gas License, and ODP Certification.
Technical Savvy: Strong electrical knowledge and the ability to read complex schematics.

Reliability: A clean Class G Driver’s license and a commitment to safety.
Tools: Your own basic hand tools (specialty equipment and truck provided).
